Guitarist Max Zentawer presents his debut album with REDUCE TO THE MAX. In a trio with double bassist Florian Döling and drummer Matthias Daneck, Max Zentawer presents a varied, exciting production from the field of contemporary modern jazz, which comes along with a defined, powerful and homogeneous sound. Earthy played grooves alternate with loosely swinging parts and are complemented by filigree, melodious (art) pieces on the acoustic guitar.

The recordings for REDUCE TO THE MAX at Bauer Studios (Ludwigsburg) were made without overdubs. The resulting directness in terms of spontaneity and interaction is omnipresent and gives the listener the feeling of immediately "being there". This impression is reinforced by the audiophile recording in highest sound quality.
